Photorealistic Digital Twins with 3D Gaussian Splatting

3D Gaussian Splatting turns ordinary photos and video into a 3D scene that preserves the real light, reflections and texture of a place or product. The result is not a hand-modelled animation — it is a digital twin of the space itself. At Liman Software we handle the whole process, from capture to publishing, and deliver the finished scene on our own platform so you can embed it into your website with a single line of code. No app required — it runs directly in the browser, on desktop and mobile.

Live Example: Walk Through the Model

The scene below is a real Gaussian Splatting project of ours. Drag with the mouse, scroll to zoom, or move around with your finger on mobile — you can navigate freely inside the scene.

The model is hosted on our own 3D publishing platform: virtual.limanyazilim.com. You can send the same scene to a client as a share link, embed it in your website as an iframe, or protect it with an optional domain lock so it only runs on your own domain.

What Makes Gaussian Splatting Different?

Classic 3D modelling redraws the space by hand. Photogrammetry converts surfaces into a mesh of triangles and breaks down on glass, polished metal and glossy finishes. Gaussian Splatting represents the scene with millions of coloured, semi-transparent points — so light, reflection and depth survive intact.

360° Virtual Tour

You look around from fixed points and jump between predefined stops. Fast and cost-effective for presenting a venue.

Photogrammetry / Mesh

Good for measurement and manufacturing, but fails on reflective and transparent surfaces and needs heavy manual cleanup for realism.

Gaussian Splatting

You move freely through the scene at photographic quality. Glass, chrome, glossy surfaces and light behaviour are preserved.

Where It Is Used

Construction & Real Estate

Publish a finished apartment, office or villa as a photorealistic 3D model so buyers can decide before visiting.

Products & E-Commerce

Put a fully rotatable 3D model on your product page to cut return rates and increase time on site.

Factories & Facilities

Create a digital twin of your production line, machine or site and present it to remote partners as if they were there.

Culture & Tourism

Digitally archive historic buildings, museums, hotels and restaurants so visitors can experience them in advance.

Survey & Documentation

Keep dated 3D records for damage assessment, construction progress and handover condition reports.

Advertising & Production

Generate unlimited camera angles from a single capture and produce promo videos with virtual camera moves.

How the Process Works

1

Survey & Planning

We inspect the space or product and plan lighting conditions and the capture path.

2

Capture

We collect hundreds of frames covering every angle with professional cameras and, where needed, our drone.

3

Training & Cleanup

The frames are processed into a 3D scene; stray points, ghosting and background noise are removed.

4

Optimisation

The model is compressed into a web-ready format (.ksplat) so it stays smooth on mobile devices.

5

Publishing

We upload the scene to our platform and hand over the share link and the iframe code for your website.

Why Liman Software?

  • Capture, processing and publishing from one team — no separate agency or platform
  • We own the hosting platform; your scene is not handed to a third-party service
  • Embeds into your site with a single line of iframe code, no app needed
  • Optimised to run smoothly on mid-range mobile devices
  • Optional domain lock so the model only opens on your own domain
  • The same capture can also produce a 360° virtual tour and a promo video

Frequently Asked Questions

What is 3D Gaussian Splatting?
It is a technique that builds a 3D model from many photographs of a space or object, representing the scene with millions of coloured, semi-transparent points. Unlike classic 3D modelling nothing is drawn by hand, so real light, reflection and texture are preserved. The result is a photorealistic digital twin you can explore in a browser.
How is it different from a virtual tour?
In a virtual tour you look around from predefined points and jump between them. With Gaussian Splatting you move freely inside the scene and view it from any angle or distance. Virtual tours are faster and cheaper for presenting a venue; Gaussian Splatting is stronger where realism and free navigation matter.
Does it work on my website? Is an app required?
No app is required. The model is published on our platform and embedded into your site with a single line of iframe code. It opens directly in the browser on desktop, tablet and mobile.
How long does capture and delivery take?
A product or single room takes a few hours to capture. Mid-sized spaces such as apartments, offices and showrooms usually take half a day; factories, facilities and outdoor sites take a full day. Including processing, optimisation and publishing, delivery is typically a few days.
Is it slow on mobile devices?
Raw Gaussian Splatting files are very large. Before publishing we compress the model into a web-ready format and clean up unnecessary points, so the scene loads smoothly even on mid-range phones.
Can you model outdoor areas and large sites?
Yes. For land, construction sites, facilities and building exteriors we capture from the air with our drone. For very large areas we recommend splitting the site into sections and publishing several linked scenes.
